HPT Shows Positive, Blood Test Came Out Negative, Scan Resulted Bulky Uterus, Abdomen Pain. Am I Pregnant?
I had an home pt test and its shows positive then I did a blood test two days ago and its came out negative,I had a scan and they said I have a bulky uterus,I am vn pain in my lowwer abodmen and as at 20 of sept am 2 days late 4 my periods,d last menses I had was btw 28 to 30 of august.pls am I pregnant.
Hi, Thanks for the query. Urine pregnancy test kit may give false positive results sometimes. This depending on the sample used, time of reading etc. For more details : http://srsree.blogspot.in/2012/06/causes-of-false-positive-pregnancy-tests.html Usually blood test should be taken as superior to urine test. Bulky uterus can be seen in some women due to parity, adenomyosis etc. So, wait for one more week. Possibly by that time you will get periods. If you do not periods by that time, consult gynecologist and take tablets to induce withdrawal bleeding. If your previous cycles are irregular, repeat the blood test after one week if you do not get periods by that time. Take care.
