Habit Of Biting Cheeks. Swollen Cheek, Thick Area. Why Is This Happening?

I m constantly biting my cheeks. It s not out of a nervous habbit. My cheeks literally fall into my teeth naturally after I got my wisdom teeth removed last year. A few days ago I noticedb a part of my cheek feels thick. It s in a circle in the front of my cheek and it feels sensitive when I touch it. It doesn t look swollen but it feels swollen. I ve seen an oral surgeon about nmy cheek biting and he said its something I have to live with but I can t. The biting is causing sores my mouth looks so tore up. Any idea on why this is happening?
