Had 5 Miscarriages. Tests Showed Mass In My Uterus. What Could This Be? Concerned?
HI, I have had 5 miscarriages (2 are because of chromosome 13 and 18) and one was unknown, and the other two were very early (I got my period within 5 days after testing positive for pregnancy). I went to see my doctor and he did a vaginal ultrasound to see if I was ovulating and to check my uterus and said I had a round sack-looking mass in my uterus. He knows I am not pregnant because I just lost the last pregnancy 10 days ago. I have active HPV cells as well. Could this be uterine cancer?
Hi and sorry to hear about this. Having this many miscarriages must be concerning, and so for all women. Courage.
Yo lost the last pregnancy just 10days ago...My first suspicion would be that maybe all the products of conception were not expelled. Did you get any ultrasound to confirm the vacuity of the uterine cavity? Uterine cancer is going to be a very rare possibility given this recent pregnancy loss.
Whatever the case, your doctor will need to do a Dilatation and curretage and send the specimen for examination if there are any doubts. This will provide the definitive answer.
I wish you good health and hope we get the answers very soon. All the best.
