Had BMT For Wiskott-aldrich Syndrome, Strange Movements Of Hands. Right Medication?

Hi, A 5 year old who had BMT for Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome over two years ago has developed some strange movements of his hands. He makes his hand into a claw shape and moves them as if they hurt. Happens several time a day. He will wait to pick up a toy until his hands stp the clenching unclenching and occasionally will accept a cup into his wrists. What could be the reason? Is there a chance at all this is behavoral?

hello there!
thank you for asking.
i want you to know that wiscott aldrich syndrome has bleeding tendencies and recurrent infections and all this is due to immuno compromised state and it needs a specialist like neurologist assessments to rule out subdural hematomas or intra cranial bleeds as straange hand movements with associated pain needs work up. A one stop neurology opinion is all you need.

Stay in constant touch with your paediatrician and allied neurologists. dermatologists and pulmonologists and immuno histopathologists and infectious disease specialists to assess the kid better. The special kid needs freequent monitoring and you know that.

take care of the kid and of yourself
