Had MRI, CT Scan Result. Can Any Online Doctor Help To Read The Result?

My brother has had an mri scan ct scan done and it says there are some clarily identified flair high signal foci whitin the white matter mainly in a deep white distribution , there is one lesion on the left frontal periventricular location but no definitive subcortical lesions. what does this mean?

Thanks for writing to HCM

Your brother report is almost normal and it can be ignored.
Few high intensity FLAIR signals can be normally seen in white matter.It may be due to many reasons like ischemic changes,demyelination etc.
Number of lesions greater than five is the cause of concern.
Your brother need routine investigations for screening so that any precipitating causes can be identified.
