Had A Fall And Have Pain Under Armpit And Breast. Will My Mammogram Show Swollen Breast Tissue?
I fell about 12 days ago and hurt myself. I heard a crack and have had ongoing pain under my right armpit area and the right side of my breast hurts terribly. I am scheduled for a mammogram tomorrow and I wondered if it will show any major problems in this procedure? I am having more pain today than I did the two days after my fall. I want to make sure I won't damage my lungs. Will my mammogram show swollen breast tissue?

I am really sorry to say that mammogram has got no role in this case you need to go for x-ray study only this will clear all the possibilities, mammogram is just for detecting the nature of lump or mass and not for injuries, hope this answer will help you have nice day.
