Had A Medical Abortion. But Shows Positive On The Pregnancy Test. Started Bleeding. Heavy Bleeding. What Does The Finding Mean?

Hi, I had a medical abortion about 2 months ago & have set up 2 appointments to have the bar inserted in my arm as birth control but they were unable to because im still testing positive on the pregnancy test. Today I started bleeding thinking I just started my period but its so heavy im having to change every 15 min. & now there was a big tissue or clot like thing that came out when I took my tampon out. I went back to the abortion clinic for my 2 wk checkup & they did an ultrasound & told me it worked. What could be going on?

Hi,
When a 2 weeks check up with ultrasound,following medical abortion states the abortion to be complete & after few days of unprotected days,the test turns positive suggests-
- It is abnormal menstrual cycle following abortion,
- The pregnancy terminated was molar
- Termination was not complete,
-you had reconception
In any of above conditions you need gynecologist's advice, investigations & medication/ evacuation .
