Had A Miscarriage. Abdominal Pain With Bleeding. Conflicting Pregnancy Test Reports. What Is Going On?

I miscarried oct 31 blighted ovum 11 weeks took 7 weeks to get first period which resembled my miscarraige. Clots and abdominal pain lasted a week. Finally got a negative pregnancy test before ovulation . Day two past due period I tested positive two days later excessive bleeding with large clots. What is going on? Did I miscarry again?

Hello,
If the completion of abortion was confirmed earlier through a follow up sonogram, then this is another pregnancy which may have terminated in an abortion or is threatened. The only way you can know is through a sonogram, preferably trans-vaginal. You can also couple it with serial serum beta-hCG assays as doubling titres every 2-3 days indicate good status of the pregnancy.
