Had An Accident. Injured Head, Ear Bone Fracture. Blood Clotted In Brain. Water Is Coming From The Ear. Is Surgery Needed?

my husband met with an accident on 11-may-2013 and got head injury ear bone fracture, left shoulder bone fracture, he was in hospital for 8 days, blood got clotted in the brain, some small blood clot is remained in the ear, which the ENT doctor said let it be there as it is not going to harm anything rather it will protect the ear from entering anything into the ear. he had bell's palsy effected after 5 days of accident
now his health condition is bell's palsy is cured with physiotherapy but few days back water was comming out of his ear, ENT doctor suggest a tablet and said no problem, within a day of the tablet patient got reaction in the blood and started eching on complete body, ENT said stop the tablet and asked to consult dermitologist, dermitologist is going on changing the tablets but till today no effect on the eching, now apart from this neurosurgeon says the internal infection has occured and so the blood clot which is in the ear should be removed immediatly and now the patient is having fever of 90degrees ENT says show it to general physician , neurosurgeon says no fever is not acceptable for brain injury so get it hospitalized immediately
expert doctors help is required urgently

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, as your neurosurgeon says there should be no fever, to a patient with a head injury, and it suggests there is some infection inside, and it should be cured, for further treatment, and it should be urgent. The surgery to remove the clot is important, to prevent the complications and to prevent the fever.
So obay the neurosurgeons advise and follow as he says, to prevent the unnecessory complications. thank you.
