Had Ankle Surgery To Repair A Clean Fib Break And Hairline Rib Fracture, Stopped Percocet, Getting Headache, Nausea, Chills.
My wife just had ankle surgery to repair a clean fib break and hairline rib fracture . She is very fit, does not do anything pills even aspirin etc. occasional wine, 1 cup coffee etc. doc gave her 7.5-350 Percocet which she used maybe for 1.5. - 2 days max - 2 per every 4-6 hrs. Stopped Thursday night, woke Friday w splitting headache and mild nausea , chills etc. Friday afternoon she vomited once, feels generally better cept for the headache which as yet to subside today. She has some chills and feels fatigued w headache My question is can two days using that shit - pardon the language - cause this and what to do for it? Advil does ZIP btw. Can she take Tylenol?

Hi, the centrally acting drugs themselves can cause head ache, and vomitings in some people, as they won't with stand that medicine, and she will never bear that drug.
The treatment comprises to my patient of such symptoms metachlopramide, and paracetamol,for treatment of the drug effect, and continuation. Thank you.
