Had Arthroscopic Surgery On Knee. Knee Pain, Thigh Pain, Inflamed. Have Had Cortisone Shots. Will I Feel Better?

My age is 75, since I had arthroscopic surgery on my right knee 3 yrs it has made it worst ,then it went to my thigh. and then my hip ,,I have just progressively gotten worst,,i have constant knee pain .and my hip is inflamed,and constant pain .I cant walk very far with all the pain ,now they say I need a hip replacement , why has the simple knee procedure cause all this , I am reluctant now ,and live off tylonol. have had cordosone shots that helped fr 1 month . please help me .as all they offer is drugs , even the right side of my calf ,pains ,[burning ]. thank you , I am female .

You probably need some thorough assessment for knee and hip osteo-arthritis by Xrays/MRI.If pain is relieved on medicines and is within tolerable limits and you can do your routine chores, you may postpone surgery, unless it is drastically interfering your daily routine and is unbearablethat surgery needs be done
