Had Bowel Resections, Missing Distal Ileum, Ileocecal Valve, Appendix And Ascending Colon, Runny Stools, Bacterial Overgrowth. Prevent Future Infection?

I've had 3 bowel resections approximately 19 years ago and am missing my distal ileum, ileocecal valve, appendix and assending colon. I suffer chronic and sometimes acute runny stools, bacterial overgrowth 3 or 4 times a year, and, finally, have developed a c.diff infection last January and June.

My question is, would a transplanted or reconstructed ileocecal valve have value in helping to prevent future infections, pain, suffering, NAFLD, yada yada yada?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, as you said the transplanted or reconstructed valve may not have any effect on the infectin. Because it is not the reason for such infections. you may need to have sufficient blood, intestinal flora , integrity of the intestines.
I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe, ranetidin and lactic acid bacilli, continuously.
I advise you to take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts and protein rich foods, and juices of vegetables.
Avoid taking milk and milk products, wheat, and barley.
Thank you.
