Had C-section, Baby Get Insufficient Milk From Breast. Using Formula Food. Will It Affect Her Brain?

Sir, I had c-section. My baby girl is 2months 1 week old, she is being bottle-fed since birth. She has latching issues while im nursing, she gets excited and was unable to get used to breast feeding. So, i used to express milk for sometime. Now, im unable to produce milk at all. I still want to feed my baby, im feeling very sad about the fact that im unable to satisfy her need. Iam using formula feeding now, i know its not at all equal to mother's milk. But can i know if its fine, im using Lactogen 1 for my babby now. I read in some article that formula feeding makes the white matter in the baby's brain will have very slow growth....is it so?? pls answer my query and kindly give me a resolution so that i can feed my baby like every other moms..Here's the link: WWW.WWWW.WW
Thanks and Regards,
:)

Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.
Breast feeding is ideal for babies. A new born baby should be exclusively breast fed till the age of 6 months thereafter baby should be breast fed till 2 years along with other food items.
Breast feeding is ideal for brain growth of a baby.
Failure to lactate is not found in any other mammal other than man. This is because humanity has so many thoughts and worries. Did you ever come across a cow which could not breast feed its baby?

Hope this helps.
