Had Cortisone Injections In Shoulders, Getting Fever And Extreme Pain. Remedy?

On this past Friday, I recieved 4 cortisone injections in my shoulders - 2 in each. it was done using a live x-ray machine as well as an ultra-sound unit. Since the lidocaine wore off on Friday evening, I have experienced much more pain then I had before the injections...and I also keep spiking very high fevers (around 101...my normal temperature is under 98). I m a 54 year old female. I had left rotator cuff surgery in Feb. 1999 and right rotator cuff and right bicep surgery in Feb., 2013 - 8 months ago! I m feeling extremely bad and very, very weak from continually sweating the fevers out, followed by the chills. Help...I can t get in touch with my doctor and honestly I ve been to weak to go fight the crowds at the local ER...any suggestions?

Hi, don't worry, your surgeries may not have any relation with the present condition, it is just a fever, may be typhoid, malaria, or a sort of viral fever.
I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe paracetamol to be taken three times a day. cifixime, and ranitidine.Thank you.
