Do not carry heavy weight at least for 3 months.

When you do any activity that involves bending without brace, it is important to ensure that your knees are lined up with your feet to avoid
injury.
You should not work out in street shoes, nor should you wear shoes that do not provide adequate support.
Have healthy diet.
Practice

yoga etc..
