I had fibroid surgery on the 20th of feb 2013..started having sex after 6wks of operation.saw my 1st period on the 24th of march n another on the 7th of april n after each sex i gulp brandy or a bag or 2bags of black tea to avoid taking in..am scared n dont which to get pregnant til august for my health..is my period due agn,just worried

Neither brandy nor black tea are effective or even advised contraceptives (if this is the reason why you gulp black tea or brandy after sexual intercourse).

If you wish to avoid pregnancy, then there are several contraceptives available in the market that can help prevent pregnancies. To be doubly sure, you could use two contraceptives (eg. birth control pills + condoms). Please do not believe in any myths, both alcohol and tea cannot prevent a pregnancy.

As for your period, it seems to be very irregular, but this could be due to the recent surgery, although if it does not normalize within the next 3-4 weeks, you might have to re-visit your doctor.
