Had Folliclar Ruptured. Took Susten. Had Back Pain And Nausea After Medication. Chances Of Pregnancy?
Hi, I am 27 and it close to 2 years that we are married TTC. I was given Clomid and then the follicular scan showed that there was a dominant follicle and on 12 day hcg 5000 was given. Scan on day 14 showed that the follicle has ruptured... i was asked to take susten 200 at night ... I had back pain and nausea after taking the tablet... is there any problem and what are my chances of conceiving... i have a 26 day cycle
Hi and thanks for the query, It s important to know the with use of drugs like Clomid, we are trying to mimic a physiologic functional state, and might not be very exact in making very accurate forecasts with respect to certain physiological and functional events like ovulation and fertilization. However, success rates with the use of this drug, and also given the clinical scenario you describe are generally high. Being very patient and compliant to treatment is an important consideration in this case. If it takes so long, say over 4 to 5 months without conception, a reevaluation by your physician is necessary., But from you describe, you chances of conception are relatively very high. Thanks and best regards, Luchuo, MD.
