Had Genital Herpes Break Out. Had Unprotected Sex. Partner Having A Cut On The Penis. Chances Of Herpes?

I had just finished a genital herpes breakout by 2 days. I had sex with a condom.I had told him about the previous outbreak. Unfortunatly the condom ripped! a few hours later he said he was burning and so was I. The following morning he said he had a small cut on his penis. He was angry and said he had been to clinic to be tested for herpes. Results in a month.
My question is this...is it possible that he may have caught herpes? would a herpes cut show up so quick after sex?

Hello,
Thanks for the query,

Although there is a risk of transmission,

But it is not possible that the infection manifests in a day.

Every disease has an incubation period.

Herpes too has an incubation period of 3 to 5 days.

Let me know you have any other doubts.

you can ask a direct question to me on this forum, following the below link.
