Had Hip Scoped, Lateral Tear Damage, Very Painful. What Is Wrong?
Hi. I had my hip scoped and some lateral tear damage to of some tendons repaired over a year ago and am still walking with a cane. Moreover, the pain in my hip is sharp and shoots downward toward the front and backside of my knee causing me to stumble or fall....pretty embarrassing. I went 39 of 42 perfect physical fitness tests in the Marines as an enlisted man as well as an officer; now, I can barely keep up with my kids. I've visited the VA (Veterans Affairs) facilities and have been told that nothing could be done (via ortho) . What is going on with my hip/leg?

The report you gave here is not enough, and does not indicates any thing in particular, for accurate diagnosis MRI is the only test which clear the picture so I would advise you to go for that, have nice day.
