Dear Ma'm
Thanks for your query to us.
1. The diet restrictions after the operation vary with individual patient. Although we generally do not restrict chicken intake post-surgery but still for ap articular case this may be consulted with your operating physician as he will be aware of other concerns.
2. It usually takes ~6weeks for body to heal from such surgical trauma.
3. Not everyone who has her uterus removed will get heart disease. Moreover role of hormones in succh patients, for protection of heart disease, is not proven. Neither blind intake of omega supplements can be recommended. They should be taken for specific indications only.
4. Try to follow the advise of your surgeon right now. Do not worry much about occurrence of heart disease. You can talk to a cardiac nurse about best life style modifications for prevention of heart disease.
Sincerely
Sukhvinder
