OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. Adenomyotic tissue can be seen anywhere and this tissue can show similar signs as the endometrium of the uterus. The fact that your umbilicus bleeds along with your normal menstrual cycles is making me think of a possible adenomyotic deposit there. In view of your intra-operative complications, this patch may have been ignored at the time. Please discuss with your consultant regarding this possibility. A sonogram or an MRI of the abdomen should help detect the cause of the cyclical backache. Hormones and styptics may be needed to control the bleeding. Hope you find this information helpful. Wish you good health.

do an ultrasonography of abdomen and pelvis to rule out the problem. you can do lumar x-ray to rule out cause for back pain.
