Had Miscarriage. Fishy Smell In Blood, Clots, Fever, Drowsiness. Worried

hi.my name is beth,26 y/o, stands 152inch with 51.5 kgs the last time i check. i had my miscarriage on my 4 weeks of pregnancy and bleeding now for 13 days. my OB hasnt given any meds and told me to let my body do the work but lately i smelled fishy smell from the blood with more blood clots and for the past 2 days i had slight fever and now i woke up with drowsiness. im just too worried and wanted to have some idea on what could be happening to me before i will go see my doc tom. hope to hear a reply. thank you

hi there, bleeding for 13 days post miscarraige with fishy discharge does not sound normal and you need to be examined. Get an ultrasound done to rule out retained products or abnormal decedual reaction. If there are any positive findings you need to go for a D&C and get the uterus cleared of any recidual effects of pregnacy ,do go and get a second opinion and get treatment accordingly.Your fever and drowsiness could be due to infection and it could turn dangerous if neglected. Take care.
