Had Miscarriages. Periods Irregular. Trying For Baby. How To Calculate Cycle?
Hi i miscarried at 14 weeks in feb this year, since then my periods have been different , i spot for one day (day one of my 28 day cycle , cycle is 28 days as normal BUT (Question 1 ) is spotting classed as day one of your period? (second question) my second day of bleeding only expelled when i went to the toilet or when im walking - blood does not appear to expell freely but gushes at this point , day 3 of bleeding, only when i wipe. My issue is my cycle has gone from 5 days of normal heavy flow from day 1 to spotting and only really one day of filling a pad with blood. I have been trying to get pregnant no luck after miscarraige - is it normal to struggle with pregnancy after miscarraige? and how do i work out my cycle ...is spotting classed as day 1 ??? is my period change of concern.
Hi, Thanks for your question. Yes, spotting is also part of menstruation. Any change in cycle & bleeding pattern is of concern & need investigation specially if you have fertility issues. You need to see a gynecologist. The doctor will suggest you some tests to find out the cause of this change. After that you will be given treatment. Don't forget to tell your doctor that you want to conceive. As some drugs used for cycle control are not good for fertility. Best of luck.
