Had My Gall Bladder Removed. But Still Have Pain Underneath My Rib When Bent Over To Do Things. Feels Something Bulging Out. Problem?
Hello I am a 52 year old women, I had my gallbladder removed 2 years ago but I still continue to get a pain on my left side, right underneath my rib............ especially if I bend over to tie shoes,,,, or pick something of the floor or reach towards my feet ..... it feels like something is bulging out and constricting like muscle cramps I am worried that it wasn't my gallbladder and I might have something else wrong, I do suffer from acid reflux at times, when I eat certain foods I notice that pain is stronger or I over eat.
The bulging out is probably incisional hernia. Pain related to food may mean recurrent stone – the common bile duct gets dilated and may have a stone in it... Pain on bending movements is from muscles / and Over The Counter (OTC) Non Steroidal Anti Inflammatory Drugs (NSAID) / muscle relaxants will be useful...
You should get yourself examined by a General surgeon
Take care Wishing speedy recovery God bless Good luck
