Had Ovary Removed, Noticed Bright Blood Discharge. Should I Be Concerned?
Hello, I just had a laparoscopic salpingo oopherectomy this past Monday, Nov 25th which removed one ovary that had a teratoma tumor. This is my first ever surgery. After surgery the nurse told me to expect some vaginal spotting. However, I am concerned because as of this afternoon I went to the restroom to try and have a bowel movement. I have been taking stool softeners and I did have a small bowel movement, but I also had something come out of my vagina. Then this evening, I tried to have another bowel movement and when I tried unsuccessfully, I noticed that when I wiped I had very bright blood discharge. Not what has been usual the past few days. Should I be concerned?
