Had Right Salpingectomy For An Ectopic Pregnancy. When Will I Know What Months I Started Ovulating From My Left Ovary?

Hi, I had a right salpingectomy in the beginning of february this year, for an ectopic pregnancy . I was very early in my pregnancy and had been regular with my cycle until the month before (january). My question is, when will I know what months I started ovulating from my left ovary? Would it have been february? or would the ectopic pregnancy stuffed it up and the left ovary ovulated in march? Funny enough, my menstrual cycles are following the same 28 day cycle as pre-ectopic.

Hello,

If you want to know when are you ovulating from the left ovary, you would get to know it by what is called follicular studies,.

In this study you need to undergo ultrasonography of the pelvis from day 9-10 of your periods regularly as your gynecologist advice, it would help you know when are you ovulating from left side.

It is good that your cycles are regular 28 days even after ectopic, this is a good sign, as it indicates that there is no hormonal imbalance, which is common after ectopic or abortion.
