Had Rotation Plasty For Osteosarcoma In The Right Femur. Pus Formation. Took Antibiotics For Cellulitis. Worried
Hi Doctor, My son has just gone through Rotation plasty on 26.04.2013, (as he had reoccurance of osteoscercoma right fumur) at Civil Hospital Ahmedabad and has been discharged now smell less sticky liquid comes out from stitches and blood also come out from those stitches. He has cellutisis and is on antibiotic these days. We had bactrial culture report also but it was no-growth. I want to know how long this will continue ? We are very tensed because of this. Please advise.
hallo dear friend i have studied your case i think you should resend fluid for culture if it is serous fluid -is usually non infective if its infected then discharge may continue for long period is he having pain, fever,? take care of cellulitis you can do blood investigation like CRP ,
take rest , get well soon
