Had Salpingectomy, Noticed Increase On Bleeding. Is It Normal Period Or Something Is Wrong After Surgery?

I had a salpingectomy last Friday (9/13/13). After surgery I started spotting. My normal period suppose to start 9/20/13. On 9/18/13 I noticed an increase on my bleeding. Right know I m soaking pads every 2-3 hrs. Is it my normal period or something is wrong after surgery? I m really worry

It could be related to pelvic congestion following the surgery. There is no cause of concern if there is no pain in abdomen , no fever and urinary complaints.
The bleeding should subside in couple of days.
If the bleeding persists or there are clots , do consult your gynaecologist
In case you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Wishing you happy and healthy life
