Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Delay in periods can occur due to many causes, like :
-
Hormonal imbalance due to stress and strain, changes in diet, exercise schedule etc.
- Poly cystic ovary disease.
-
Thyroid hormonal abnormalities.
-Anemia, decreased fat stores in the body.
- Repeated usage of emergency
contraceptive pills can alter the hormonal levels and can lead to menstrual irregularity.

So, once consult gynecologist and get evaluated to find out the possible cause for your delayed periods.
If she suggests undergo investigations like
hemoglobin, blood sugar levels estimation, thyroid profile,
ultrasound etc.
If no abnormality is detected, you can take tablets to induce withdrawal bleeding with her advice.
Better to avoid frequent intake of emergency pills.
There should be at least 2 months gap between two pills.
Take care.
