Had Shingles. Took Ibuprofen, Paracetamol. Have Sore Stomach, Burning Sensation

I have had shingles for three weeks now and have had to take ibuprofen and paracetamol extensively for the pain. I have now got a very sore stomach, a burning sensation, and in a lot of pain with that now. I am only taking the odd paracetamol now as shingle pain is nearly gone. What food can I take to help my stomach?

Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
The sore stomach could probably be a side effect of ibuprofen which is known to cause it.
It is good that you have stopped taking ibuprofen.
For relief of pain, take prilosec for 8 weeks.
You need to avoid coffee, citrus, chocolates, smoking, alcohol, spicy food and fatty food.
I hope that answers your question.
Regards.
