Had Shingles, Insufficient Sleep. Will I Get Shingles Again?
i am 21 years old now... i had shingles this past christmas, and had been taken medications since the 25th of december till about late january/beginning of february. After i finished my medications i did not go back to a doctor for regular check up... before shingles my inmune system was bad (i was sick all the time), now apparantly i cant get sick, even though i sleep lot less than before, and i feel that im treating my body even worst than before.. is there something wrong with me. am i in risk of getting shingles again, or am i good. the only thing is that my head does hurt from time to time, like if someone was putting preasure on my head, or i had someting wraped around my head tight
Since you have goat shingles before, so it is highly unlikely that you will get the same infection again now. But you seem to be having a lot of pain associated. Now this is called post herpetic neuralgia. This has got various treatment options . You should see a nearby dermatologist and start treatment for the same. It surely gets much better with treatment.
Hope it helps
