Hi there ~

I understand your concerns. However, your primary concern for your husband should be to take care of his wound healing. The process itself would require a lot of energy and nutrients and I hope he is on supplemental multivitamins and multi-minerals as well as micronutrients in addition to the feeding regimen that he is on. I believe, once he is better and has his ostomy tube out, he will be ready to regain his lost weight with a combination of graduated increase in exercise as well as food intake. I hope you consult a doctor who can help give you recommendations at that time.

I hope this helps. Take care and have a lovely day!
