Had Surgery In The Ankle, Broken Ribs. Prescribed With Ratio-oxycet. Trouble Sleeping On Stopping Medication. Can I Take Them Again?

yes 4 weeks ago i had 7 screws 2 plates put into my ankle affter bracking it. Iv done well over 120 ratio-oxycocet 5mg/325mg pills.Im having trouble sleeping now that i want to ween off of these? Im still having some discomfert thought! I do have some sr/75s witch i have left over from when I broke 3 of my ribs! should (can I ) take these in place? I just need to get some good sleep? please help! richard.

Thanks for writing to us.
If you do not have any pain then you need not take these medicines. The inability to fall asleep is suggestive of a dependence on these medicines. You need to get an anti anxiety prescribed from your physician.
