Had Unprotected Sex. Period Is Late. How To Make Periods Start?

me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex about two weeks ago, and I am now 3 days late on my period. i know that we should have used a condom or something and i really wish we would have. he tried the "pull out" method and he claims that there is no way for me to be pregnant. unfortunately i am a bit more skeptical than he is because I cant afford to be pregnant I am not financially stable enough for a child and there is no way that i can afford an abortion. I have read online about using parsley as a tampon and taking high doses of vitamin c to cause a miscarriage or to make your period start. but i am iffy about that because I am not sure if it is healthy or safe. please help me!

Hello dear,

If you are sure that no sperm has entered inside your genital tract, then there is no chance of getting pregnant.
The delay in periods can be due to various reasons such as anovulatory cycles, infection, hormonal imbalance, stress, etc.

So, please do not worry.
You can perform a home pregnancy test using pregnancy kit.
In case of pregnancy, it will give positive results within one week of absence of periods.

And even if the test comes positive, it will be better to consult a Gynecologist rather than trying the methods you have read online to cause a miscarriage.
Most of the information available online do not have any clinical basis, and following them may cause unwanted harm to the body.
