Hair Thinning, Hair Loss. Will Adding Dettol To My Bathing Water Help Control Hair Fall?
Can dettol help with mg hair lost? My hair was thick and full not it as a less thicken look. I know that I m lossing my hair and was going to wash my hair with it today but, I wanted to know if it was a good idea. Btw when I was younger we use to take baths with and put a small amount into our waters!! But what do you think ?
Hello,
No, it would not! Hair fall can be due to certain reasons, the most common of them being due to dandruff and androgenetic alopecia which is hormonally mediated. If you have dandruff then take appropriate measures to cure it with anti-dandruff shampoos. If the hair fall is due to androgenetic alopecia then there is little you can do except applying some lotions which would temporarily stop hair fall. Ultimately, you would need to resort to hair transplantation for your bald areas.
Hi,
Hope you are doing great.
Dettol would be of no value in arresting your hairfall. Dettol is a disinfectant. It cannot control hairfall or promote hair regrowth. Dettol may cause scalp or skin irritation if you have a sensitive kind of skin. Best to avoid it altogether.
