I found a small hard bump right next to the opening of my vagina, saw the gyno today and she is testing for herpes, i am having a hard time believing its herpes, she said it can be dormant for years but i've never had any problems and have had only one partner for 14 years. I've looked a ton of information on the web and it just does not seem like herpes at all. The bump does hurt a little, more after she took the sample. I am really stressing out here
HI Thank for asking to HCM Certain medical condition really need to be examined clinically, her in your case at least it could be said that the possibility of Bartholincyst need to ruled out you can talk to your doctor for this have nice day.
From the information you have provided, it seems unlikely that this herpes. Testing would however provide concrete evidence on what the cause is. This may simply represent a small noon specific rash. It if rare for primary herpes simplex to present with a single bump. Just be patient and don't be so so disturbed about it. It is likely not going to be herpes. Relax about this.
