Hard Yellow Crust On Both Nipples. Non Cancerous Lump In Breast. Chances Of Cancer?
I am a 44 yr old female kidney transplant patient experiencing a hard yellow crust on both nipples. I do have a non cancerous lump in my left breast that is checked yearly. I will be having another round of full mammograms with ultrasound done on 3/29/13 to investigate the problem. Should I be worried that I may have developed any type of cancer?
If it is a bilateral problem, it is less likely to be carcinoma. It can just be eczema, which leads to crusting and itching. You should continue your regular follow-up visits with the breast surgeon.
