Has The Injury Healed If Casts Were Removed But Asked Not To Walk After Fracturing Calcaneus?

I fractured my left calcaneus 6 weeks ago. At my last Dr. s appt. on 8/21/13 he said no further casts were needed and that I should return in six weeks, but keep off of the foot. Does this sound like the injury has healed and I should be walking soon?

Yes , injury is healed but walking will be allowed with support and you need that for 6 more weeks . After that you can walk without support. Full healing of fracture will take 3 months and swelling will be there till 6 months.
