Have Charcot Marie Tooth Disease. Half Toe Darker Than Rest. Due To Poor Circulation?

I have moderate effects from Charcot Marie Tooth disease including poor circulation to my extremities and hammer toe . On my right foot big toe the nail bed is two colors longitudinally. The half closest to the second toe is markedly darker than the outer half, which is similar to the rest of my nails . Could this be a result of the poor circulation? I m puzzled by it just being the one toe.

Hi there ~

I understand your concern. I think that having the charcot marie tooth disease is not an easy thing. Poor circulation due to the same can be disabling and you should probably also have a lot of pain due to the same. I believe that a visit with an internal medicine doctor will give you cues as to what you should be doing in terms of taking care of yourself and with regards to medications.

I hope this helps. Take care and have a lovely day!
