Have GERD, Skin In Mouth Sticks To Dentures. On Bp Medication, Potassium Supplement. Why Would This Happen?

I have skin sloughing off from my mouth. I take a blood pressure med, a diuretic, a potassium supplement and a gerd. I was in the hospital for 5 monoths with late onset crohn's but I'm not tking a crohn's med. The skin sloughs off, sticks to my dentures, and gathers in my throat. I've been to two dentists and one oral surgeon and neither have helped.

hello,

In the first place you should understand the cause of oral ulcer and slough.
It is basically due to Gastroesophageal reflux disease.
in this condition the gastric acid gets regurgitated and this changes the pH of the oral cavity which causes repeated ulcers and their are prone for infection.
Without address the issue of GERD this is likely to recurr.
It may be one of the extraintestinal manifestation of Crohn's disease.
Follow the treatment regularly and consult the Gastroenterologist.
