Hello Ahmed
Thank you for getting in touch with us. As I see, you were diagnosed with PCOD sometime back. PCOD is a complex disease which leads to various complications like obesity, problems with periods. hirsutism (appearance of male hair pattern), infertility etc. Metformin is commonly used in PCOD patients to manage the irregular periods. Not all patients respond immediately to medicines immediately and response is varied. The rest of the medicines your Doctor has put you on are highly effective in the management of PCOD. Therefore, we would recommend you to keep in touch with your Doctor and keep him updated about the status of your symptoms. Hope this helps

Polycystic ovarian disease or pcod as generally called is a problem that cannot be cured with medication.
Medicines like ovral when given help to regularise the menstrual cycle only as long as they are taken.when on ovral, one cannot xonceive as pills like this are birth control pills.
People with pcod need help in the form of medicines to help in conception.
Diagnostic laproscopy is also a diagnosgic teat and helps to know the status of your fallopian tubes.the ovaries are punctured at various sites to help facilitate egg formation.
You should consult your doctor you will give you medicines which aid in egg formation along with parallel ovulation studies and timed intercourse.this will again be a hit and trial method as there are un countable factors which play role in conception ,some of which are not known.with advancing age chances of pregnancy will further decrease.
Your husband's semen analysis report should also be assessed.
