HI,I AM 55 MALE, SUFFERING FROM POLIO ; TILL FEW MONTHS BACK I USE TO WALK 1-2 MILES DAILY ; BUT NOW MY LOWER BODY BELOW WAIST LINE IS NOT RESPONDING A IT USE TO BE .NOW I FEEL WEAKNESS AND NOT ABLE TO WALK FOR FEW METERS. I AM DIABETIC FOR 7 YEARS AND B.P SINCE 4 YEARS .BUT BOTH OF THESE ARE UNDER CONTROL. BP-124/80. FASING/PPG-111/145

The now developed weakness in the limbs is likely to be due to diabetic neuropathy. The nerve weakness due to an uncontrolled diabetes can cause such symptoms. A physical examination and investigations will help in diagnosis.
