Have A Permanent Hard Boil In The Eyelid. What Could This Be?

i have almost permanent boil in my lower left eye lid from last 3 years ,it is not painful,appears solid ,sometimes it becomes smaller & sometimes bigger,it remains bigger for 2 to 3 months .i had same kind of boil in the other eye but that has completly disappeared but not this one ,i have bad life style,i often skip bath spend 8 to 10 hour infront of PC,and i am not morning people. What it is ?

Hello,
Permanent hard boil in the eye lid seems from the history that it is probably because of blockage of one of hte glands of the eye lids.
The commonest swelling of the eye lid being chalazion. This is more common in cases of poor facial hygiene which you have mentioned in your history.
The treatment is by hot compress and antibiotic eye drops in small swellings. However larger swellings may require a minor surgery including incision of the lesion.
