Have A Recurrent Infection On Butt Cheek. What To Do?

Hello...im so ashamed but i need help!! I have a recurrant infection that keeps coming up on my right buttcheek! Not same spot...but close. I work for a physician...she said it was staph. Even the nurse practitioner said it was staph...She even lanced it and packed it! Please help mr!!! : -(

Hello and welcome to HCM,

Even I'll agree here with your physician and say its staphylococcus infection. Get a course of oral antibiotic prescribed to get the infection out of your system, since you seem to be getting it again and again. Apply topical fusidic scid/ mupirocin ointment on the boil.

Diabetes is also a cause of recurrent boils, I'd advise you to get your blood sugar tested.
