Have Back Pain And Constant Numbness In Knee And Toes. MRI Shows Multilevel Lumbar Degenerative Disc Disease. Meaning?
I have occasional back pain and constant numbness from behind my left knee down to my toes. It is worse when I sit or lie down. My MRI shows: multilevel lumbar degenerative disc disease with small left foraminal annular year and disc herniation at L3-4 that does not compress the left L3 nerve root. What does this mean?
Hi, CT scan report indicates there are generalized Osteo-artheritis changes in vertebral column leading to herniation of inter-vertebral disc. Problem you are having pain and numbness is due to pressure and irritations nerves passing through. Consult spine specialist and seek advice about treatment and physiotherapy. Ok and take care.
