Have Bartholin Cyst Burst During Hot Compression
Bartholin cyst burst during hot compress. Mainly blood came out. Had already been prescribed vantin, topical antibiotic, and sitz baths w/ potassium manganate. Worried that puss did not drain, only blood. Was very enlarged, hard sac remains. Help!! I am taking long flight home tomorrow, and want to avoid surgery until return home. Worried about pain and worsening infection

Hello,
Spontaneous ruptures and rupture during compression can happen. If there is no pus and no signs of infection, it will settle by itself. You can continue your drugs.
