Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic
Some women can experience severe
menstrual pain. It can sometimes be related to fibroids or to a condition called
endometriosis. If you have been evaluated by your doctors ,these may have already been ruled out.
The use of contraceptives is usually associated with decreased menstrual pain, these can be oral, injection, patch,
intrauterine device. Most cause decreased pain and decreased menstrual flow.
If you are trying to conceive and do not wish to use
contraception and your periods are regular then you should consider the use of medication 3 to 4 days before the period is due. Anti inflammatory pain medication such as
ibuprofen, celebrex, naproxen decrease the release of prostagladins which play a part in the pain.By decreasing their levels, the pain should be less.
I hope this helps
