Have Bleeding Because Of The Periods. Taking Estrace. Sonogram Done. Had Hemorrhoids Earlier. Can It The Same Or Spotting?
I am day 11 of my cycle and taking estrace 3 times daily in preparation for fet around 25 possibly if my sonogram looks good on 21st. I have had hemorrhoids before but have no pain now and am worried that the bleeding could be spotting and something of concern. I am not sure whether to mention to doctor yet or if he would adjust my dose. Sadly, I am confused if it is hemorrhoids or spotting related to the hormones.
Hi, The cause of the spotting could be either a breakthrough bleed or from the hemorrhoids, but, any bleeding or spotting from the hemorrhoids is usually accompanied by pain, passage of hard stool, pelvic pressure and some amount of burning sensation around the anus and is mostly observed while passing the stool. You should report the matter to your consultant as this needs a physical exam and dosage adjustment. Hope your query is answered. Wish you good health.
