Have Bloating, Passing Wind, Tried Different Foods In Diet. Diagnosed With Diverticulitis. Suggest?

Please, any ideas, my husband is driving me crazy, he is continually bloated, passing wind, and generally uncomfortable, we have tried taking out and introducing different foods in his diet, but the problem still is there. He was diagnosed with diverticulitis some years ago. We have a reasonably healthy low fat diet with loads of fruit and veg, he is 71 years old and healthy apart from this.

Hello ,
These symptoms are suggestive of excessive flatulence. First, a look at various medications ( if any ) has to be done to rule out the possible cause.
Addition of a probiotic (which are good commensel bacteria) would definitely help solve your problem. kindly meet your family physician for further help
