Have Burning Chest, Throat, Ears, Sinus Area, White Tongue, Nausea. Take Zantac, Prilosec, But No Relief
I have had reflux symptoms-burning in chest and throat for about 1 1/2 weeks, but for about 1 week now I also have had a white tongue and back of throat, pain and burning in both ears, and pain and burning in my sinus area but have no sinus issues, and burning in throat and chest along with some nausea every once in a while. I do take Zantac continually and my doctor added Prilosec but this doesn't seem to help. And what is with the white mouth and tongue

I have gone through your query regarding burning in chest, throat , headache and nausea. Your tongue is coated and no sinus issue is there.
Considering your symptoms it appears as you are suffering from acute gastriris with reflux oesophagitis.you are already taking antacids but not getting proper responce. You are now advice to take-
(a) Antacid with PPI (protone pump inhibitor).
(b) Avoid spicy food and take bland diet.
(c) Antiemitic like Domperidone.
(d) Take proper rest.

You can take---
Tab. Mucinac 600 once daily
Tab. Sonpraz D (Omeprazole +Domperidom ) two times a day half an hour before meals
Syp. Digene gel 2 tsf two times a day half an hour before meals
Cap. Zevit (multivitamin) twice daily
Keep head end of bed elevated.
Avoid alcohol, Smoking
Do brisk walking daily
Go for walk after dinner
Avoid spicy food
Avoid late night coffee
follow up after 7 days.

Do Betadine gargle 2 tsf in half glass of water for gargle 3 times a day
